Ingredients
Paste:
- one stalk lemongrass, thinly sliced
- two large shallots, coarsely chopped,
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 kaffir lime leaves, deveined
- 1/8 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup water
Blender until smooth (2-3 minutes) Combine in a bowl with:
- 3 tbsp veg oil
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 lbs boneless pounded sirloin cut to 1“ cubes
Method
- Marinate for at least an hour at room temp, or overnight in the fridge.
- Grill to medium, 2-3 min per side
- sprinkle with 1/3 cup peanuts, roasted and finely ground
