#ginger cured beef

Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless top round, sliced 1/8 thick across grain (try Korean sliced beef)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp peeled, finely chopped ginger
  • 2 tsp salt
Method
  1. Combine in bowl
  2. Lay on rack, place in warm spot to cure 8-24 hours
  3. meat will dry out, turn purplish-red
  4. cook on stovetop, grill or broil
  5. serve warm or at room temp
