  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 TBS dry nonfat milk
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice

Combine the water, sugar, and milk powder in a small saucepan and bring just to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar and the milk powder. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.

Stir the lemon juice into the sugar syrup. Refrigerate before preparing in the machine.
