Pesach brownies - Mama’s original recipe
Kosher for Passover assuming you've kept the matza meal pristine.
Ingredients
- ½ cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup matza cake meal
- ½ cup cocoa
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tspn vanilla
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Spray a 9”x9” pan.
- Beat together eggs and oil, then whisk in sugar until slightly thickened.
- Sift matza meal and cocoa together into the egg mixture.
- Stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Spoon into pan and spread level.
- Bake for 20 - 25 mins.
Notes
This recipe makes thin brownies. For thicker brownies, double the recipe. Pesach vegetarian
