- 1 stick of butter, melted over medium heat
- 1/2-3/4 cup of flour, gently mixed in to make a roux
Cook for a few minutes.
- 2 cans of chicken broth; whisk in, and bring to a gentle boil until it thickens
- sherry to taste
- cubes of chicken bullion to add salt and extra chicken flavor
Stop here for Chicken in White Wine.
Alternative additions:
- sauteed garlic
- lemon juice
Add sauteed mushrooms and diced tomatoes and serve over Chicken Borsellini from Costco.
