Technique

  1. In a large bowl, toss together the cabbage and carrot.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, syrup, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or for up to overnight before serving.
