• 1/2 cup butter
• 3/4 cup applesauce
• 1 cup white sugar
• 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
• 3/4 cup white flour
• 1/2 tspn baking soda
• 1/2 tspn baking powder
• 1 tspn salt
• 1 egg
• 1 tspn vanilla
• 4 bananas, mashed
• 1 3/4 cups uncooked oatmeal (I used quick oats)
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips, semisweet

Optional:

• nutmeg
• cinnamon
• walnuts

1. Cream butter, sugar together.
2. Add egg, vanilla and applesauce.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together.
4. Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 - 18 minutes, or until golden.

Nice moist cookie, no crumbles!
