The following recipe is vegetarian (lacto) but is not in any way healthy. It is delicious. * 14 oz Gimme Lean or other bulk veggie sausage * 3 cups milk (I used skim) * 4 tbsp butter * 1/3 cup flour * Bacon Salt (this is a brand name - it is vegan/kosher/pareve) * pepper (or use Peppered Bacon Salt) - Crumble and saute the veggie sausage. - Make a medium roux from the butter and flour. - On medium heat, combine the roux with sausage and milk. Simmer until thick. - Season with Bacon Salt. Enjoy with scrambled eggs and grits, or freshly made biscuits. tags: vegetarian source: DSR
